From signed to sending in about four weeks.

Most of that time is the new inboxes warming up, which can't be rushed. Everything else gets built while they warm.

  1. Set up the accounts and sending domain

I set up the sending, data and CRM tools in your company's name, along with a separate sending domain and inboxes that keep your main email safe.

Week 1. Warmup starts the same week.

  2. Build the list

About 300 contacts who match your best customers: the right company size, the right segment, the person who actually decides. Each one is checked against your CRM so existing customers and open deals are left alone.

    Weeks 1 and 2.

  3. Write three versions of the email

Short, personal emails and follow-ups written for your buyers, in three distinct versions. You review and approve all of it before anything sends.

    Week 2.

  4. Check everything before the first send

A full set of deliverability checks runs before anything goes out, so your emails land in the inbox and bad addresses never hurt your domain.

    Week 3.

  5. Launch and train your team

The first campaign goes live. Then two 60-minute sessions walk your team through the playbook: building the next list, writing the next version, running the checks and handling replies.

    Week 4.

  6. Review weekly

A 30-minute call each week to look at replies and delivery, refresh copy that's gone stale and catch deliverability problems early. On Build + Run, I also source and load new leads every week and sort replies into your calendar.

    Ongoing, three-month minimum.

What your team needs to bring.

  • One person who owns outboundUsually the founder or whoever leads sales. About two hours a week once it's running.
  • A clear picture of your best customersWho bought, why, and what they were dealing with before.
  • Fast answers to repliesCold email starts conversations. Someone on your side has to take the call.

See if it fits your business.

Twenty minutes. Tell me what you sell and who buys it, and I'll tell you whether cold email can work for you.
